Random pics

Dawson is TOTALLY into his cowboy duds lately. When he got dressed this morning, I asked him if I could take some pictures of him...he said "Of course mom." This first picture, Dawson informed me was his 'Cowboy face'. When we are out in public, if someone comments on his outfit, he is quick to inform him that he does NOT have a rope though.

Being goofy before bed.
Papaw gave him a marker set for Valentines...apparently he tought the blue one made great lipstick.

And...look at my stylish girl! I can't believe she lets me dress her up all the time without a fuss...she is just too cute. We were trying on our beach clothes from gymbo of course.

Valentine's Day

Here are my two cuties before going to school for their Valentine parties.
And...I have to say, my hubby totally outdid himself this year. He treated me to a couples spa package, then a wonderful dinner at Babbo Brunos. If you have not eaten there...it is a must! Then, when we got home he surprised me with these adorable coupons he had made for me! Too sweet. My favorite coupon is the one promising to take me to a romantic movie of my choice...he totally has to take me to see Twilight now! Love ya babe.

(Side note: since having children...derek & I no longer end up in any of our pics...we need to get better about that. The coupons will have to represent us this year.)

Wedding Cuties

Here are my two munchkins at Windy's wedding (Aunt Hettie's roomey). I Love this image of them...too sweet. Here is a funny conversation we had with Dawson on the way home.
Dawson: "Are Windy & Ross coming back with us to Aunt Hettie's house?
Me: "No, they are going on their honeymoon. That is a vacation for people who just got married."
(he was quiet for several minutes...then...)
Dawson: "Is Windy going to the moon wearing her married shirt?"

More Dawson Blog & one Andi story

Dawson told me last night: "Mom, my hiney is burping & it smells like gas."

This was his prayer the other night: "Dear God, thank you for Jesus, thank you for our walls & doors...we love you God. Amen."

The other day Dawson & I were playing Hungry Hippo when he knocked one of the balls on the floor. He told me to pick it up. I told him, "No, you knocked it down, you need to pick it up." We went back & forth for a bit. Then, he slid down out of his chair to pick it up...rolled his eyes...and said under his breath "for crying out loud." I nearly died. I say this phrase ALL the time...but it sounded so much worse coming out of his mouth. Oh my.

Andi just grabbed my face today with both of her hands & said "LOOK AT ME. NOOOOO Crying. Thank you." Then, she let go of me & walked away.

Dada Crazy Time

This was one evening last week during 'Crazy Dada Time' when he gets home from work. Derek was catapulting Dawson up into the air pretty high...crazy boys.

SUPERHEROS!!!

My kids love to dress up as Superheros, and they don't mind mixing 'forces'. This is a combo of Batman, Spiderman & Star Wars.
