Andi has always been almost completely right brained...she is just so creative & has the most amazing imagination. I remember when she was still little bitty, I started saying things like 'she is totally going to be a performer.' Of course, we found out after her first recital just how much she loves being on stage. She asks non-stop to please let her dance on the big stage again. PLEASE Mom??? During that last week of May, she had sung on stage for her school performance, then she had danced on stage for her recital. Lots of stage time. Then, my friend emailed me a video link to a scene from the Broadway musical 'The Little Mermaid', because she thought Andi would enjoy it. She of course loved it. She watched the whole thing wide-eyed with her mouth hanging open. When it ended, she looked over at me & said 'Mom, did you know that you can sing AND dance on the stage AT THE SAME TIME????' I am sure it is only a matter of time before she is doing both of those on stage at the same time too.
After a SUPER exciting t-ball season, Dawson's little team won the Championship! I just love watching baseball & am so happy that my boy loves to play baseball...and he's really good too! Sometimes the games are so nerve-racking & exciting I can hardly stand it. You will see from the videos that I get just a tad excited during the games!

This is a video of Dawson getting an out at second. Pretty cool little dive he has to do to get him. The boy who got out was confused for a bit...but he finally heads back to the dug-out.
And, this last video is of the last out of the game, making our boys the champions. (Like I said before, I get a tad excited...so you may want to turn the volume down :-) And, no making fun of me for screaming like a crazy woman.
At the end of May, my sweet girl had her very first recital. It was a super crazy day...she had her last soccer game that morning & then she went to hang out at Mamaw's house to get dressed while I went to watch Dawson's championship t-ball game. Then, we all rushed over to her dance recital! Whew what a day! But, it was so awesome watching her up there on stage...she nailed her two dances! I was one proud Mama!

She was one excited little girl afterward & thought her flowers from her doting grandparents & Aunt Hettie were the most amazing gift ever. I am so excited that she loves dance as much as I do & I look forward to many more years of costumes and recitals. (I bought the recital dvd from the studio, so I did not end up with any personal videos of her dances that I can post on here...I'll have to remember that for next year.)
Oh my goodness...Dawson's kindergarten graduation was one of the cutest things I have ever seen. The little program the kids put on was so adorable. It really was just too sweet. What a fun way to celebrate this milestone. The above picture is Dawson's class' bulletin board with all of their self portraits!
