Church Visiting
Since we have moved to Minnesota, we have visited quite a few churches. We have narrowed the prospects down to two different churches now...so we are getting close to finding a 'permanent' church home here. But, I had a funny experience a few weeks ago. I am firm believer that ALL things happen for a reason, even the really small things that seem insignificant. So, after we had visited the 4th church, I ran into a lady from that congregation the next day at Target. I began to wonder if that was a 'sign' from God that we should attend that particular church. However, over the next couple of days, I ran into several more people from several of the congregations we had visited. So, it wasn't a sign from God at all. It was just a sign that we live in a very small town now.

We too have been doing lots of church visiting. I think we finally found home...and that feels so good! Wishing you the best church home for your year in Minnesota. And God does work in mysterious ways, yes, especially the small ways.
It's such a big decision for your family, so feel comfortable in taking your time. You'll feel God leading you and then you'll know you're home! Temporarily, that is, because we are your home church down here. For several years, we have had two churches, and we feel doubly blessed.
