My blog has very quickly become my way of documenting all of the kids, especially Dawson's, funny comments. I can just print out the blog pages for his baby book & all our friends & family can enjoy the funny stories as well. That being said, here are Dawson's funny moments from the last couple of weeks.
1. Dawson is eating jello..."Mom, does Andi like jello?"
me- "Hmmm...I am not sure."
Dawson- "You should really find out."
2. Dawson tells me all the time "Mom, you are a sad, strange little girl." (quote from toy story)
He also asks me "Mom, are you my conscience?" (from Finding Nemo)
3. The other day I got a little chilly & I went & put on a new long sleeve shirt Derek had just got me from New York. When I walked into the room Dawson exclaimed "That's a cool shirt little Mama!"
4. While eating dinner, Dawson said "These pictures on the wall are a little dusty over here...and the wall is a little dusty too."
5. The other night I was putting him to bed, following our usual routine, when he suddenly stopped & looked at me. He said, "Okay mom...you can go now." And he even flicked his wrist to motion me out of the room. Trying not to burst out laughing, and slightly taken aback, I kind of fumbled around as I quickly told him goodnight & left...I have never been 'kicked out' of his room before!
6. Today the kiddos were wrestling on the couch. Dawson said "I am a little bit nervous right now. I'm a little bit nervous that Andi is going to hurt me. We don't want to freak out." I was very impressed that he used the word 'nervous', and in the right context.
He just turned three, but he talks like a little adult! GEEZ!
